Sepsis Wetenschapsdag 2026

november 5 @ 10:00 - 17:00

SepsisNet Wetenschapsdag 2026

Van pre-hospitaal tot post-sepsis zorg

Datum
Donderdag 5 november 2026
Locatie
Voertaal
Engels

SepsisNet Science Day 2026

From pre-hospital to post-sepsis care

Date
Thursday 5 November 2026
Venue
Language
English

On 5 November 2026, SepsisNet Netherlands brings together Dutch sepsis research in Utrecht. A day to get to know each other’s cohorts, expertise and assays, to make your own work visible, and to make shared validation, data sharing and joint grant applications easy to start.

The day follows the patient journey: from recognition and triage, through subtyping and host-directed therapy and antimicrobial and haemodynamic resuscitation, to post-sepsis care. Alongside the keynote sessions there is a speed round of flash talks and a stand market during the networking lunch.

Every contribution ends with one concrete message: what can I offer, and what am I looking for?

Why join

In a single day, you will see who in the Netherlands works on which cohort, omics layer and assays. You present your own work, find partners for validation and grant applications, and stay connected afterwards through a profile on www.sepsisnet.nl and a shared mailing list. Pitch slots are selected from submitted abstracts, so please submit your abstract when you register (abstracts can be submitted until 5 October).

Who should attend

Open to everyone conducting research on sepsis or interested in the field.
