Doel is vroege herkenning en biologische subtypering van pati\u00ebnten met (dreigende) sepsis, zodat behandeling tijdig kan worden afgestemd, en ontwikkeling van therapie\u00ebn die orgaanfalen voorkomen. Binnen de Acutelines biobank koppel ik klinische data (vitale parameters, waveforms) aan multi-omics (RNA-sequencing, proteomics) via machine learning, en valideer subtypes in pre-klinische modellen om therapeutische targets te identificeren. Mechanistische thema&#8217;s zijn immuun-metabole ontregeling, mitochondriale en endotheliale dysfunctie en sepsisendotypen; winterslaapbiologie dient als blauwdruk voor orgaanbescherming.
