(Geert) Groeneveld"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My research focuses on value based health care in acute internal medicine, concentrated on patients with respiratory tract infections. Within the Leiden Bioscience Park we have developed a controlled human infection model (CHIM) for influenza, in which we are able to perform early phase (value based) studies on influenza treatment and vaccination. I study biomarkers that can be used as screening instrument in the diagnostic process and will reduce unnecessary testing.
